The consultation survey covers the following categories of questions for each Arts subject.

Overarching questions

These discuss the general thoughts about the learning area rather than specific subject feedback.

Subject-Specific Questions
  • Includes questions about pathways visuals, strands, and the alignment of subject descriptions with knowledge and practice statements.
Quality Assurance Questions
  • Covers coherence and clarity — including year-level appropriateness, progression, inclusivity, and deliverability of the subject.

  • Draft Music Learning Area (Phase 5) Feedback Hui Join colleagues from across Aotearoa to engage with the draft Music Learning Area curriculum materials for Years 11–13. This hui will provide an opportunity to work through the draft curriculum, discuss implications for teaching and learning, identify key themes, and contribute feedback that may inform MENZA’s national submission.
